The Hanover Arts and Activities Center has been part of the Hanover Community for more than 40 years, in large part due to our wonderful donors. This financial support not only helps to keep our old building maintained, it also ensures that we continue to carry out our Mission — to play a vital role in the enrichment of our community through cultural, educational and community events.
Can you imagine Ashland and Hanover without this treasure? If you are like us and cannot, we need your continued support. We hope that you will consider advertising in the 2015 Ashland Variety Show Playbill. It is the Center’s major fundraiser, and without the support of our community we would not be able to keep the Center doors open and fulfill our mission.
The Ashland Variety show is sponsored by the Center, began in 1982, and has been held bi-annually since 1983. This year’s show is titled “Ashland, our Valentine Town!” This show is directed by Lorie Foley and Sue Watson and is scheduled for March 19, 20 and 21 at Blackwell Auditorium on the campus of Randolph-Macon College. In past years we have sold out each show, indicative of the large community support for the Center, and tremendous exposure for your business in the playbill.
Since our last show we have been able to replace our roof, paint the exterior of our building, refurbish the ballroom and conference room floors, restore the handicap ramp and complete many other projects. Proceeds from this year’s show will go to match a $50,000 grant from the Cabell Foundation. If we can meet this match, every dollar contributed by you will essentially be doubled.
Please click on the link below, fill out the form, and return it to The Center to advertise today! Questions? Please call 804.798.2728 and we will be happy to assist you.
